Austin Powder is seeking to hire a full-time Technical Representative for our California and Nevada territory to provide blasting services technical support and solutions to employees and customers.  Individuals meeting the requirements of this position will have 5-10 years of blasting, operational and leadership experience in the mining and metals industry managing blast crews. This role will be responsible for providing leadership on mine planning activities to meet established plans, budgets and targets. The individual will have a wide range of expertise in blast optimization, blast design and application, explosives training and post-blast analysis to ensure cost-effective blasting results.   

 

This position actively works toward a safe and healthy work environment by demonstrating Austin Powder's values-based leadership capabilities.  There is daily, direct interface with mine management, mine engineers, and blasting services employees.  The individual must maintain knowledge of industry regulations and ensure job site operational and regulatory procedures are accurately and uniformly implemented.
